Kroger - Gainesville, GA

Site Development:

Clearing and mass grading of approximately 20.5 acres, including 40,000 CY of cut and fill, with export of 16,000 CY of excess material. Scope supports construction of a proposed Kroger store with fuel center, as well as future shop outparcels. Extensive Soil remediation is required for the installation of a site retaining wall.

Storm Drainage System:

Installation of approximately 4,400 LF of storm drainage infrastructure, including pipe ranging from 12” to 36” diameter, precast manholes, headwalls, an outlet control structure, and a Hydro International water quality unit.

Secondary Drainage:

Installation of approximately 840 LF of secondary drainage piping, ranging from 6” to 12” in diameter, including cleanout assemblies.

Sanitary Sewer:

Construction of 1,500 LF of offsite sewer to connect to the City of Gainesville main, including clearing, rock blasting, and a 100 LF jack and bore.

Installation of 3,200 LF of onsite sewer piping with precast manholes, four 1,500-gallon grease traps, and two 1,500-gallon oil/water separators.

Domestic Water System:

Installation of 4,000 LF of 2” domestic water line, including backflow preventers and associated accessories.

Fire Protection System:

Installation of 3,420 LF of fire line, ranging from 6” to 8” diameter, including ten fire hydrant assemblies, an 8” backflow preventer and vault, post indicator valve (PIV), fire department connection (FDC), and tie-in to an existing 8” water main.
